Thomas Caesar Candiotti

A knuckleball pitcher who had a long, successful career, Tom is currently a broadcast analyst for the Arizona Diamondbacks. His best season was 1988, when he went 14-8 with a 3.28 ERA and 137 strikeouts for the Milwaukee Brewers. He also pitched for Cleveland Indians, Toronto Blue Jays, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Dodgers before retiring in 1999. Candiotti appeared as knuckle ball pitcher Hoyt Wilhelm in Billy Crystal’s 2001 movie “61*”, the story of Mickey Mantle and Roger Marises chase to pass Babe Ruths record. A multi-talented athlete, Candiotti is a member of the International Bowling Museum’s Hall of Fame.
