Michael Lorri Scioscia

Mike has managed the Angels since 1999. He led the team to its first World Series championship in 2002 as a wild card entry, after which he was acclaimed Manager of the Year. He has now piloted the Angels to four division titles and is the teams career leader in games managed and games won. A first round pick in the 1976 draft, Scioscia spent his entire career “1980-1992” as a catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, with whom he won two World Series. In 1990, he became the first Dodger catcher to start in the All-Star game since Roy Campanella.
