The mission of the National Ethnic Heritage Foundation (NEHF), a non-profit organization, is to promote knowledge and recognition of the contributions that ethnic and cultural groups have made to America’s unique multicultural heritage, and to promote positive attitudes toward ethnic diversity in the United States. To achieve this mission, NEHF will :

Develop and provide educational and informational materials to non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote appreciation of a particular ethnic or cultural group in the United States.

Provide strategic planning services and program development support to non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote appreciation of a particular ethnic or cultural group in the United States.

Provide fellowships for researchers working in the field of American ethnic studies whose findings are relevant to the mission of NEHF.

Provide grants to non-profit organizations whose mission is to promote appreciation of a particular ethnic or cultural group in the United States for projects relevant to the mission of NEHF.
